Tarkio Parks & Rec raising funds

The City of Tarkio Parks and Recreation Department is currently raising funds for a baseball bleacher/field project at the city ball field. The goal is $60,000. Checks and Venmo accepted.

56th Annual Turkey Dinner

The American Legion Post #199 and American Legion Auxiliary Unit #199 are preparing to hold their 56th annual turkey dinner on Sunday, November 6th, 2022, at the legion building in Tarkio.

Staten Family Singers to perform at Tarkio Rotary Theatre

The Mule Barn Theatre Guild and the Staten family are joining forces are joining forces again to entertain the community at the Tarkio Rotary Theatre. The Statens will sing at 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 6th, 2022.

Atchison County Mobile Food Pantry Nov. 15

Atchison County Community Services, Inc., in partnership with Second Harvest, will hold a mobile pantry food drop in Tarkio, Missouri, Tuesday, November 15, weather permitting. Food drop will begin at 10 am and continue until 12 noon (while supplies last).

Free yoga for parents

Yoga with Tisha will be leading a free 30 minute yoga class for parents from 5 to 6 pm on November 16, 2022, in the Tarkio Elementary School Library. While you are in yoga class, your little ones will be enjoying an actiity and care provided by local Parents as Teaches and Easter Seals Parent Educators.
